We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draught Technician with strong experience in computer-aided design, particularly AutoCAD, to support the design and documentation of electrical power distribution systems. The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchboards and be capable of producing accurate Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and related electrical drawings. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD, including layouts, schematics, and As-Built (construction drawings). Design and draft LV and MV switchboards, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and project specifications. Develop and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for LV and MV electrical systems. Interpret electrical design requirements, technical specifications, and engineering calculations. Coordinate with electrical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and completeness. Revise and update drawings based on design changes, site feedback, or client requirements. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and company drafting procedures. Maintain organized drawing records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Draughting, or a related field. A minimum 3 years' experience in a similar capacity Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with other CAD tools is an advantage). Demonstrated experience in LV and MV board design. Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems and components. Ability to produce clear and accurate Single Line Diagrams. Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
