The job function entails managing the integrated Library systems, electronic resources, Library portal, classification and cataloguing, processing and preservation of library collections. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Strategic Responsibilities: Participate in the library modernization project. Technical and Operational Responsibilities: Lead a team in the technical services and e-resource management; Implementation, maintenance and upgrading of integrated Library systems; Implementation of Library automation supplements – Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), self-check machines, etc.; enhancing security of information; Library portal management; Library server and host administration; Technical risk management; Digital asset management; e-resources and e-journal management; Managing Library back-up systems; technical support; cataloguing and classification; Networking with other CBK Bank Libraries to form a union catalogue; preservation and conservation of Library resources. Other Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of the Library budget; Maintain liaison with service providers and IT department in the maintenance of the Library systems; Risk Management for the library.
