Kitui County is located 170Km to the South East of Nairobi City. It covers an area of about 30,496 km2. It borders Machakos and Makueni Counties to the West, Tana River County to the East, Taita-Taveta County to the South, and Embu and Tharaka- Nithi Counties to the North. Requirements for Appointment: Be a Citizen of Kenya; A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; Been registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer; and Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results. Duties and Responsibilities: Detailed design and supervision of construction; Maintenance of classified and unclassified roads; Design of small span drainage structures; and Any other duty assigned from time to time.
